My son Kekoa started tutoring at the age of 4.  He needed help with reading and I didn't know where to start. Thank goodness we found Karen of Brain Builders! Karen has great teaching techniques with an enthusiastic approach.  She accurately assess his needs and developed a personalized learning plan. He became a confident read a loud child just before kindergarten.  Later he learned to speed read and gained knowledge of key words.  As the years have gone by, he continues to excel and even won a D.A.R.E. essay at school. Today, my son is 13 years old and he still looks forward to tutoring with Karen.  She's an amazing exceptional private tutor that has captured his eagerness to learn.  There was never a day that he didn't want to tutor.  Karen is a huge inspiration in his life and education.  His high test scores proves how well Brain Builders is effective!

Karen of Brain Builders is very knowledgeable in Math. She was able to communicate and convey Math concepts to Brianna at her level, but more importantly, she was able to connect with Brianna, which encouraged her to want to learn and to persevere.

First of all I would like to say that Miss Karen as we call her is a great 

tutor! My son Micah has been seeing Miss Karen for about a year now and she 

definitely has helped him through seventh grade math! He is currently in 

eighth grade and we have Miss Karen come over once a week. She is patient,has 

great communication as well as wonderful listening skills. She takes the time 

to listen and calmly assists. She is very knowledgeable about the subject 

matter and curriculum. We enjoy her coming and helping Micah because since 

then, we all have noticed his increase confidence in attacking math problems.

when it comes to math and shows enthusiasm and has a better attitude toward
